Shave butter is a whole new way of shaving!  Instead of focusing on soap, shave butter focuses on moisture.  It largely has the consistency of....you guessed it...butter!  You lightly spread the butter on your intended shave area and then get to work!  Yes, you can rinse with water following a shave but if you are in a tight spot, all you really need to do is wipe away the butter.
